Why did I choose International Relations? For many people, choosing International Relations may seem like an unusual path because of its high level of competition and the challenge of building a successful career. For me, however, it is exactly what I want to pursue. I have always been fascinated by learning foreign languages while discussing global issues and the international organizations working to address them. My participation in debates, Model United Nations conferences, competitions, and social initiatives has only strengthened my passion for this field. I have a clear long-term goal: to work for the United Nations. This is not just a dream but a strategic plan that I have already begun pursuing. One of my first steps was applying to KAEF, a foundation that supports outstanding young people with strong potential. KIMEP is the only university where I found the perfect match between the curriculum, academic opportunities, and student organizations. This year, I participated in the LEAD Case Championship, where my team won a prize. More importantly, I had the opportunity to speak with students from the International Relations program, and that was the moment I realized I had found the place where I truly belong. This summer, I was selected to participate in the MUN Leadership Academy, where I will continue developing my leadership skills, expanding my understanding of international affairs, and preparing for my future career. Love what you do. Keep learning. Build opportunities that bring you one step closer to your goals. 💜
