Title: Sourcing Resources with Zero Budget: How I Built "Language for All" 🏫✨Text:When I launched my speaking club, I faced a major challenge: how to find a physical space and gather students with zero budget.Instead of waiting for ideal conditions, I focused on communication and resourcefulness. I consulted directly with schoolteachers and class supervisors. They heavily supported my vision and kindly allowed me to use empty classrooms during free hours and windows in the schedule to gather the children.To make the lessons truly effective, I focused on a few practical steps: Lesson Preparation: I researched the internet for engaging games, videos, and interactive tasks that would keep the kids motivated.Speaking Tools: I used vocabulary flashcards and picked accessible topics for discussions to encourage active speaking. Advice from Teachers: I regularly asked experienced English teachers at my school for advice on methods to work with children better.Because the sessions were interactive and different from traditional lessons, the children showed great interest in participating. Eventually, our initiative scaled to about 40 active students. This experience taught me my first major lesson in leadership: when resources are limited, your ability to negotiate and build trust becomes your greatest asset. What is next? Right now, I am focusing on transitioning this experience into the digital space through "Media for Education". My goal for this upcoming academic year is to digitize these interactive methods so we can reach and support even more youth who lack access to high-level language resources. The journey continues!
