Over the past week, I learned about the four largest companies in audit and consulting-Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY), and KPMG. Each company has its own unique history, but they all share the same values: professionalism, trust, continuous growth, and helping businesses make the right decisions. While preparing this series of posts, I learned how the Big 4 companies were created, what they do today, how they have grown around the world, and what role they play in Kazakhstan. It was especially interesting to discover that all four companies have been working in Kazakhstan for many years, helping businesses, auditing major organizations, and supporting the next generation of professionals. Writing these posts was more than just research for me. It gave me a better understanding of the auditing profession and made me even more confident that this is the career I want to build. Next, I will start university, gain new knowledge, develop my skills, and take my first steps toward becoming an auditor. I hope that one day I will become part of one of the Big 4 companies. Thank you to everyone who read my posts and followed this project. I have many more interesting topics about auditing, accounting, and finance that I look forward to sharing. Has anyone here worked or completed an internship at a Big 4 company? I would love to hear about your experience and any advice you have for students. If you work at a Big 4 company, I would really appreciate it if you could share your experience and tell me what advice you would give to a student who is just starting this journey.
