Kazakhstan’s "Raw Material Trap": Why I’m building KzMarket AI. Did you know that 50–70% of Kazakhstan's total exports come from raw materials? It’s a staggering number that keeps our economy caught in a cycle of instability, making us dangerously vulnerable to global price swings. We have the resources, but we’re missing out on the true growth that comes from a strong, diversified non-oil sector. I spent the entire year conducting deep research into this issue, analyzing market barriers and the role of marketing in our local economy. That research truly motivated me to build a tool that actually helps. I realized that if we want a stronger economy, we need to stop waiting for commodity prices to change and start supporting our small and medium-sized businesses directly. I believe that by giving entrepreneurs the tools to grow, we can make our local businesses more competitive and our economy more stable. I’m just getting started!
