Hi everyone, my name is Nurzhigit Kural and I am from Almaty, Kazakhstan. I was born with a genetic condition that affects my vision, and instead of waiting for the world to get clearer, I decided to build the clarity myself. I finished a school called Financial Lyceum JOS on a full scholarship, and I got the Altyn Belgi there. I was also a FLEX scholarship recipient and spent a year studying in the US, which is where a lot of my work in volunteering and social impact really started growing, things like coaching disabled kids in swimming, teaching at Inclusive Academy, and founding the JOS Volunteers club. Now I am building on that through projects like InclusiveAI and BeyondColor, which focus on inclusive education and fighting discrimination in digital spaces. Currently I am doing a summer program called LaunchX, where I am working as a consultant in a team solving real problems for Milwaukee Tech Hub, and after that I am planning to join the Ethical Leadership Experience program and the Bioengineering program by Stanford iGEM. My long term goal is to build systems that make sure a person's biology or background never decides their chance to succeed, and I am excited to keep growing and connect with people who care about the same things.
