The best products don't always create new habits. Sometimes they simply combine the habits people already have. While thinking about PaceUp, I realized something interesting. Athletes already use platforms to build their professional identity and track their training progress. These are two habits that already exist. The problem is that they live in completely different worlds. One platform helps you showcase your achievements. Another helps you record your workouts. Yet neither creates a complete picture of an athlete's journey. That made me ask a different question: What if an athlete never had to separate their career from their progress? This idea led me to one of the core concepts behind PaceUp: a single verified profile where competition history, achievements, and training progress become part of one continuous story instead of scattered across multiple platforms. The more I work on this project, the more I realize that innovation isn't always about inventing something completely new. Sometimes it's about connecting things that should have been connected all along
