I have developed the “Evidence Diary” project and I am currently working on its implementation and technical aspects. In legal practice, people sometimes lose cases not because they are in the wrong, but because they were unable to prove that a violation had taken place. Evidence Diary is digital assistant which, at the moment of an incident, will advise you on what evidence to preserve, how to document it and where to turn next. A mistake made in a hurry shouldn’t distort the outcome of a case. The MVP is built around five common incident scenarios- money transfer disputes, domestic violence, property damage, contract breaches, and labor disputes- each with a tailored evidence checklist developed specifically for it. A consultation with practicing lawyers is scheduled for tomorrow to validate the approach, and a group of testers has already been identified for upcoming trials.
