I recently had the opportunity to attend MINDA 2026: Machine Intelligence Meets Neurotechnology – From Decoding to Applications at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). The workshop offered fascinating insights into the rapidly evolving fields of Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), EEG signal processing, neurotechnology, and the integration of artificial intelligence in understanding and interpreting brain activity. Through expert talks and discussions, I gained a deeper appreciation of how AI is advancing applications in neural signal decoding, neurotherapy, and brain–computer interaction. One of the highlights was the hands-on EEG processing session, where I had the opportunity to work with neural data using Python-based tools and learn practical approaches to EEG analysis. This experience provided valuable exposure to real-world neurotechnology workflows and reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between AI and neuroscience. Many thanks to the organizers, speakers, facilitators, and fellow participants for creating such an engaging and insightful learning environment. It was inspiring to connect with researchers, students, and professionals who share a passion for AI, neuroscience, and emerging technologies. I'm excited to continue exploring this field and to apply the knowledge gained from this workshop to future research and projects. #MINDA2026 #BCI #BrainComputerInterface #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #EEG #Neuroscience #MachineLearning #Python #Neurotechnology #Research #Technology #XMUM
