When building something brick by brick, should you start immediately, or spend time learning the foundations first? In the past, jumping in without a clear plan led to mistakes. This time, I decided to approach things differently. As I started thinking seriously about an adaptive exam-preparation platform, I realized that student data, learning patterns, weak topics, and progress over time do not organize themselves. Everything starts with data. So instead of rushing, I took a step back to refresh my domain of knowledge. Questions that appeared were along with: Learning how data is actually stored, structured, and QUERIED. Luckily, I was able to reach out to people with experience in data science and building products to better understand where to begin. That is why I am currently working through SQL Academy. SQL is not the most glamorous part of building a product. But it is the right place to start. My goal is not certificates but to build something useful - a platform that can help students prepare for exams more effeciently than I was able to when I was preparing myself. (W3Schools)
