According to WHO, about 7% of the population suffers from hearing impairment. In Kazakhstan, more than 1.3 million people need medical support due to hearing loss. This was a serious problem in our community. That's why year ago we decided to create sign-to-text translator. One member of out team even had the same scenario. He couldn't communicate with his deaf grandfather. We thought that this project could diminish this gap and build a bridge between people.
