Throwback to one of the most breathtaking experiences in my journey. I studied at Citrus College in Los Angeles, California, as part of an English Language Immersion Program. The classes were truly extraordinary: they pushed me to become more confident in my English and actually use it in real situations, not just learn it. After finishing the course, I finally got to explore Los Angeles with my mom. We walked through Hollywood and the Walk of Fame, seeing the stars on the ground I had only seen in movies before. We stayed with a host family, which made the experience even more real - it wasn’t just studying abroad, it was living a different life for a while. I came back with stronger English, more confidence, and a completely new perspective on stepping into unfamiliar spaces.
