Yesterday, I was selected as a finalist of the Y-PEER Kazakhstan Summer Leadership School 2026. A few months ago, I joined Y-PEER as a volunteer. Since then, I have become a regional coordinator and peer educator, helped organize trainings in Taraz, and worked with young people in my community. After a competitive selection process, I was selected among 38 participants from across Kazakhstan to join this year's Summer Leadership School. Over the next five days, we will spend time in Burabay, learning from experienced trainers, participating in workshops, exchanging ideas, and developing leadership, communication, and facilitation skills. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to bringing new knowledge, ideas, and experience back to my community in Taraz!
