Project Update: Starting with Research One of the most important steps in building any impactful project is understanding whether it addresses a real need and what potential users actually expect from it. Before moving further with the development of my project, AI-Powered Civic Platform to Enhance Government Transparency and Public Trust, I decided to launch a public survey. The goal is to better understand how citizens interact with government information, what difficulties they face when trying to understand budgets and public projects, and whether there is demand for a platform that makes this information more accessible. To reach a wider audience and collect more diverse perspectives, the survey has been prepared in English, Russian, and Kazakh. The responses will help me identify: • existing gaps in public access to information; • the biggest barriers to civic engagement; • which features would be most useful for citizens; • how AI can help simplify complex government documents and public spending reports. I believe that solutions should be built around real user needs rather than assumptions. This research is the first step toward creating a platform that can make government information easier to understand, encourage greater civic participation, and strengthen transparency. After analyzing the survey results, I plan to summarize key findings, identify user priorities, and begin designing the first prototype of the platform. I would be grateful to everyone who takes a few minutes to participate and share their perspective. Survey launched: June 10 Distribution channels: • Instagram • University student communities • Personal and professional networks • Friends and classmates Target: 50+ responses within one week LINK : https://forms.gle/hhPvypxLgDesNfTg9 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfpK8o6XKEtGnR-wRGzo2JCQ_PgwrmFO8nET_xNPZhLONGbnQ/viewform?usp=header
