Why I am a Strong Candidate for the KAEF Grant: My Path at KIMEP and Values that Drive Me Being short-listed for the next stage of the KAEF Laureate Grant 2026 is an honor and a great motivation for me. I believe that a strong candidate is defined not just by high grades, but by a clear vision of their future and a genuine commitment to being useful to society. Academic Foundation: I have always strived to approach my education with deep responsibility. My journey at KIMEP began with a solid foundation: I managed to score 100 on my UNT and achieve an 8.0 on the IELTS on my first attempts. English has been my major interest since childhood, and studying at an international university like KIMEP has allowed me to turn this passion into a professional tool. Choosing Law: Discipline and Dedication: Jurisprudence is an incredibly demanding field, requiring rigorous analysis and discipline. Maintaining a 3.90 GPA at the School of Law takes a lot of hard work, but it comes from a true interest in the legal system. I am deeply grateful to my professors, Dr. Rustam Atadzhanov and Mr. Arman Shaikenov, for their academic guidance and support. Receiving recommendation letters from such respected legal professionals is a great honor that reinforces my commitment to this path. Future Goals and Commitment to Kazakhstan: My long-term goal is to pursue an LLM degree in the UK to gain international perspective and expertise. However, my ultimate plan is to build my career here, in Kazakhstan. I aim to start by gaining solid practical experience in top-tier international professional services firms, with the eventual goal of contributing to the development of our country’s public sector and legal framework. I sincerely believe that our generation bears the responsibility for shaping a transparent and prosperous future for Kazakhstan. Social Responsibility and Mentorship: For me, entering the legal profession is deeply connected with social responsibility. Last summer, I wanted to apply my skills where they were needed, so I spent my holidays volunteering as an English teacher at a local orphanage. Helping children build their language foundation was a deeply rewarding experience. It taught me that real change starts with small, consistent actions and willingness to share knowledge with those who need it most. University Life and Leadership: A well-rounded university experience goes beyond classrooms. I regularly volunteer at KIMEP events, and I am also actively involved in the KIMEP Fashion Industry (KFI) student organization. Working on projects that promote creativity and student empowerment has been a great lesson in leadership, and I am honored to have been recently appointed as the Vice President of KFI. Why the KAEF Grant Matters to Me: The KAEF grant is not just financial support; it represents a unique community of successful mentors and leaders. I am confident that I can honor the trust of the selection committee by maintaining high academic standards and continuing to contribute actively to our community.
